SMILE SUMMER CAMP 2019

As Summer is the time for children to take time off from the regular chore of going to school and getting down to the curriculum. So, the summer vacation is, in another way, an opportunity to horn certain life skills while having fun. SLIS 5th Summer Camp  was designed especially with a motive to utilize the summer vacations in the most productive manner where the learning process goes hand in hand with fun activities.

The camp bagan its journey on 27th May and culminated on the 5th of June 2019. The students were divided into groups according to their age appropriate levels, to allow more teacher attention so as to facilitate superior learning standards.  Enthusiastic teachers were especially trained to facilitate the needs of students.

SLIS Summer Camp has come up with ingredients to help children gain different life skills which will not only help themselves but also their surroundings. Managing time, keeping discipline in day-to-day life, even sensitizing elders would be what the children are supposed to grasp through the innovative design of the modules.

Yoga,Swimming,Dance,Art and Craft,Candle Making,Science with fun, Photography,German language, Spoken English and Personality Development were taught to students so as to facilitate them in contributing to their homes and society.The best artwork was also exhibited.

The physical needs of students were catered in the form of Sports and Fitness classes. Healthy competitions were arranged to inculcate sportsman spirit and positivity in their personalities.
The essence of all these activities was developing a sound character. Sharing with you the main glimpse of Smile Summer Camp.
