Child first, Safety first

To keep our students completely safe and secure, One Day Workshop was organised on Child Safety- Teacher’s Role at SLIS-J today under the guidance of Dr. M.K. Sehgal (Chairman; SLIS).

The workshop was organised to find all possible steps to identify problems, prevent mishaps and ensure safety for young learners and improve the perception of school as a safe place for knowledge.

Sh. Arvind Kumar, Chief Judicial Magistrate cum Secretary District Legal Services Authority, Sh. Suresh Pal, Member, Child Welfare Committee (CWC), Yamuna Nagar, Sh. R. C. Sharma, Panel Advocate were among the panelists of Key Speakers.

Key note speaker referred to recent incidents in some school premises in the country and how it had triggered concern among guardians, parents and citizens and felt it was important that the rearing of a child be conducted in a loving, healthy and safe environment.
