St. Lawrence International School, Jagadhri celebrated Independence Day of India with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour. On the morning of August 14, 2019, our students presented hand-made greeting cards and tri-colour flag badges to the Principal and Staff. Joyfully, they conveyed their greetings in advance for Independence Day to all  by presenting them tri-colour flag badges.

Program began formally with students performing March-past with the drill playing loud and tri-colour flag, flying high. After the hoisting of flag and the march-past students were gathered together for the cultural programme which  commenced with everyone singing together ‘Vande Mataram’. The spirit of freedom and nationalism was well exhibited by the students through a spectrum of patriotic poems, speeches, Songs, Dance, Mime Show and Act on freedom fighters.

Committed to the task of nation building, Chairperson Dr Rajni Sehgal appealed  teachers and students to take pledge to serve their motherland through spreading education and serving the community.

Managing Director Dr M.K. Sehgal addressed on the history and significance of the Independence Day and shed light on the special highlights of celebrations of  this year. Program concluded with singing of National Anthem by all.
