BLOOD DONATION CAMP

Blood donation is one of the noblest forms of service as it has the power to save a life and renew hope. At SLIS, we believe that true education goes beyond academics and inspires compassion, responsibility and service to humanity.

With this vision, St. Lawrence International School, Jagadhri organised a Blood Donation Camp on the occasion of the 44th martyrdom anniversary of Shaheed Lala Jagat Narain Ji. More than fifty donors came forward and contributed towards this meaningful cause.

Worthy Chairperson Dr. Rajni Sehgal shared that education must encourage values such as empathy, sacrifice and cooperation, while Worthy Managing Director Dr. M.K. Sehgal expressed that blood donation is a sacred act that brings light into someone’s life and strengthens the spirit of humanity in society.

The event saw active participation from parents, staff, volunteers and social workers. The camp received generous support from Punjab Kesri Group and Mother Mary Charity Home, making the initiative even more impactful. The day concluded with gratitude towards all donors and supporters who added true meaning to Teacher’s Day by serving society in the most humane way.
